While the Teeling Distillery of today was officially opened in 2015, the brand’s history in Irish whiskey actually stretches back to 1782, when a chap called Walter Teeling set up a distillery in the Liberties area of Dublin.
Teeling's Revival V is a 12 year old single malt Irish whiskey initially in ex-Bourbon barrels. Following that maturation, the whiskey was moved over to Cognac and brandy barrels for a finishing period, then bottled at 46% ABV. A release of 15,000 bottles.
